ABOUT HERAMBI

Herambi College of Education was established in 2013, with the mission of providing training & development that alleviate poverty and youth unemployment in rural areas.

Since its inception in 2013, Herambi has grown in the skills development sector, with accreditations from various SETA’s. Various full qualifications are offered to businesses and individuals, to cater or the varying needs of every business and individual.

Short Term Goals

  • To be accredited with Quality Council of Trade and Occupations
  • To be associated and recognized by the various institutions that governs the education and training industry.
  • To employ the necessary skills through hiring of qualified personnel that will establish Herambi as the QCTO provider of choice in the rural Districts of the Overberg and Sarah Baardman in the Western -and Eastern Cape respectively.
  • To have each division (SETA & QCTO) functioning independently and profitably
  • To design product packages and brand them in order to distinguish Herambi from our competitors by focusing on occupational training
  • Each department leverage against each other to drive sales
  • Reach monthly revenue targets
  • Achieve reasonable return on investment of at least a minimum of 35%
  • To implement a cutting edge marketing plan that will generate sales within the QCTO band within our rural communities.
  • To brand the company by clearly defining whom we are through our Mission and Vision Statements and our core values.

Long Term Goals

  • Be subject matter experts when it comes to Skills Development and Training within the QCTO sphere.
  • Best preferred supplier of tailor made on site training within different occupations
  • Expand our service offering nationally
  • To establish an independent Skills School Unit aligned with Occupational Training
  • Get involved in mutually beneficial partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the Skills Development – Business Consulting sectors and Manufacturing Engineering and Related Services, Packhouses, etc
  • To continue creating sustainable jobs for the people of South Africa especially the youth, women and disabled people by introducing them to the trades and occupational study fields.
  • Reinvesting our profits into:
    1. Set – up an Assessment Centre within 1 year
    2. Establish a Trade Test Centre within 2 years – there’s none in the Overberg

Keys to Success

Since its inception in 2013, Herambi has grown in the skills development sector, with accreditations from Agriseta . Various full qualifications are offered to businesses and individuals, to cater for the different needs of businesses and individuals.

Over the past three years from 2017 until 2019, the following major changes in the organization has taken place:

1. The ownership of the business has an equity of 100% black
2. The COO has extensive experience in the operations of a training & development
